There is always a chance that things might not work out when you decide to make a drastic change in your life, but there is also always a chance that things will work out to benefit you. The Change course will help you to be able to see the risks and opportunities that change brings.
The three stages of change and how to get through them- The Change course will teach you what the three stages of change are and ways of dealing with them without getting too overwhelmed.
The lessons in 'Who Moved My Cheese'- In the Change course you will be introduced to the book 'Who Moved My Cheese', written by Spencer Johnson. The book describes change, four typical reactions to said change, and how it affects one's professional and personal life.
How people react to change- Change tends to be a big deal for many people and everyone reacts to it differently. This course will teach you productive ways of dealing with change in your own life.
How the 4 Room Apartment can help deal with change- In the Change course you will be introduced to the 4 Room Apartment theory of change and will learn how knowing what each room symbolizes can help you deal with change.
What can or cannot be controlled- There are many things in our lives that we wish we could control but we can't. The course will help you to separate these two and learn how to deal with both separately. You will learn to accept the things you can't change and learn how to control the things you can change.
How to deal with survivors- Organizations go through drastic change all the time. Some employees can't handle the change and leave, others stick around. The Change course will give you tips on how to communicate with the survivors of change so that you can maintain your relationship with them and keep them in the loop.
How to make key elements of change work for you- In every project there are many paths you can follow to get you from the beginning to the end. If you've tried the same old ways again and again and aren't getting the results you want, it may be as simple as identifying how to implement change effectively. The Change course will teach you how to make the key elements of change work for you.
